The Director of Capital Markets will lead the sourcing, structuring, and execution of debt and equity financing across the firm’s real estate investment portfolio. This role is responsible for managing lender and investor relationships, structuring complex capital stacks, and supporting the execution of acquisitions, developments, and recapitalizations.

Capital Raising & Financing

• Source and execute debt and equity financing for acquisitions, development projects, and portfolio recapitalizations

• Structure and negotiate capital stacks including senior debt, mezzanine financing, preferred equity, and joint venture equity

• Lead the financing process from initial structuring through closing

Investor & Lender Relations

• Maintain and expand relationships with banks, debt funds, insurance companies, friends & family investors, family offices, and institutional investors

• Prepare and present investment opportunities to capital partners

• Manage ongoing communication with investors and lenders

Financial Structuring & Underwriting

• Lead financial modeling and underwriting of investment opportunities

• Evaluate financing alternatives and recommend optimal capital structures

• Partner with acquisitions and development teams on deal economics and feasibility

Transaction Execution

• Coordinate lender and investor due diligence processes

• Negotiate loan documents and joint venture agreements

• Manage closing process in coordination with legal, accounting, and third-party advisors

Capital Strategy

• Monitor capital markets trends, interest rates, and financing conditions

• Advise leadership on capital strategy and financing alternatives

• Support long-term relationships with capital partners to facilitate future transactions

• 7–12+ years of experience in real estate finance, capital markets, investment banking, or private equity

• Strong financial modeling and underwriting experience

• Established relationships with lenders and capital providers

• Experience structuring complex real estate transactions

• Excellent presentation and investor communication skills
