Wound Care Nurse (RN)

Location: Schervier Rehab and Nursing Center – Bronx, NY
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay: Competitive, based on experience

Schervier Rehab and Nursing Center is a well-respected skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility committed to providing the highest standard of care for our residents. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Wound Care Nurse .

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

• Provide and document wound care treatments per physician orders and facility protocols

• Monitor wound healing progress and communicate updates to physicians and families

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure continuity of care

• Educate nursing staff on wound prevention, care techniques, and infection control practices

• Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and facility policies

Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in New York State

• Prior wound care experience required (WCC certification preferred)

• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills

• Compassionate and professional demeanor with a commitment to quality care
