Job Summary As a Registered Dental Hygienist at our practice, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting optimal oral health. We are looking for an energetic individual who excels at patient education and clinical excellence to help create a positive, stress-free experience for every individual who walks through our doors. Pay $35~$45 per hour Salary Details - Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. Employment Type Part-time Requirements Basic life support Cardiopulmonary resuscitation Licensed dental hygienist Licensure: Valid Florida State licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). Certification: Current CPR/BLS certification is required. Experience: Previous experience in a private practice setting is preferred, but we welcome highly motivated recent graduates. Technical Skills: Proficiency with EMR systems and digital radiography. Knowledge of medical coding and dental terminology. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and a compassionate "bedside manner" to help manage patient dental anxiety. Job Description Clinical Care: Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing (SRP) and polishing to remove plaque and tartar. Patient Assessment: Review medical histories, monitor vital signs, and perform oral cancer screenings. Radiography: Take and develop high-quality dental radiographs while adhering to strict infection control and safety protocols. Education: Counsel patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and the link between oral health and systemic wellness. Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring full HIPAA compliance. Collaboration: Work closely with Dr. Phillips and the dental assisting team to ensure smooth office flow and efficient chairside transitions.
