Surgical Technician - NOC Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, NOC Shift (15:00 - 23:00)

Job Description

The Surgical Technician will work in a Level 1 trauma facility, providing quality surgical care by assisting the surgical team during procedures. The technician will be responsible for maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring all surgical instruments are prepared and accounted for.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for surgeries, including sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures.
• Handle surgical instruments and materials, ensuring they are available for the procedure.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during surgical procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technician.
• Certification from CRCST or IAHCSMM required prior to submission.
• Mask Fit Test required.
