Job Summary: Operating Room (OR) RN Circulator General & Neuro Surgery in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The healthcare provider will serve as a circulating nurse in the operating room, supporting perioperative patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs while acting as a patient advocate. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days 4x10 (10 hour shifts) with a minimum of 36 hours per week; up to 3 Fridays or Mondays off in a 6 week schedule.
• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA) certification; RN licensure; 0+ years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year of operating room experience with neuro-specific roles; experience with DaVinci Xi; experience with Hana Table; experience with Arthrex tower; experience with Beach Chair positioning; general surgery experience that includes urology and gynecology surgeries performed robotically; orthopedic surgery experience including scopes and arthroplasty.
• Additional Information: Flu vaccination is required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1, with exemptions requiring client approval. Call is on average every 67 days with rotating weekend call, and there are also scheduled late shifts where a stay late may be required.
• Role Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate perioperative patient care; serve as a patient advocate at all times; support surgical teams as a circulator in the operating room.
