Job Duties

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, which include physical examinations and meticulous review of medical histories
• Aid in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical issues through analyzing imaging studies and lab results
• Work in tandem with surgeons to formulate and implement personalized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide essential support during surgeries, which includes operating room preparation, ensuring proper patient positioning, and handling surgical instruments
• Administer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, which encompasses medication distribution, wound management, discharge planning, and patient instruction

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a strong emphasis on surgical practice preferred

Required Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C credential
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
