Position Type: Contract
Contract Duration: 3 months
Start: June 22, 2026
Pay Rate: $62.00-$68.00 / Hour (USD)
Shift / Schedule: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)
Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Key Responsibilities

Work in the IMCU unit caring for adult patients (18 years - Adults)
Care for patients with common diagnoses including Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, Resp: COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post op
Operate specialty equipment including Temp pacer, Chest tubes, A lines, Bipap, and Neptune Vapo
Manage patients on vents: chronic vents unable to wean (RT to assist)
Float as required within the facility
Work within a 64-bed unit, including 15 designated Neuro beds

Education Requirements

Active NY RN License required (NURSYS Report verification required; ALL RN licenses must be verified and ACTIVE)
Current AHA BLS certification required
Current ACLS certification required
Current NIHSS certification required

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in IMCU/PCU required (must be documented on resume)
Travel nursing experience required (must be documented on resume)
EMR experience required: EPIC

Required Skills

Proficiency with specialty equipment: Temp pacer, Chest tubes, A lines, Bipap, Neptune Vapo
Experience with chronic ventilator patients (unable to wean)
Skills Checklist matching specialty required at time of submission

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

Floating required
Scrub color: Navy Blue
Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed

Will take local candidates - Local rates apply (less than 75 miles)
Up-to-date resume must include 2 years of experience in IMCU/PCU and document travel experience
Skills Checklist matching specialty must be submitted
Driver's license with address matching demographics required at time of submission
NURSYS Report with active NY License and ALL RN licenses must be submitted
RTO (Requested Time Off) MUST be included at time of submission
