Phlebotomist – Indianapolis, IN and surrounding cities Labcorp is a leader in diagnostics, drug development, and healthcare innovation. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexible to work overtime as needed. Must be 21 years of age. Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completed training program. 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist. Additional Job Standards Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Reliable transportation with a clean driving record if applicable. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
