Position Overview We are seeking a Podiatrist Physician (DPM) to provide quality podiatric care to residents in nursing homes, assisted-living facilities, and long-term care facilities. The physician will travel within an assigned area and work closely with facility staff and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care. The position offers flexible scheduling, allowing the DPM to work with the scheduling team to create a schedule that meets both patient and provider needs. Contract opportunities may also be available.

The physician will travel within an assigned area and work closely with facility staff and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care. The position offers flexible scheduling, allowing the DPM to work with the scheduling team to create a schedule that meets both patient and provider needs. Contract opportunities may also be available.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' foot and ankle conditions.
- Provide routine foot care, including nail trimming, callus removal, and wound care.
- Diagnose and treat foot-related conditions, including infections, ulcers, and deformities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' clinical needs.
- Collaborate with facility staff and healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on proper foot care and preventive strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Complete electronic scheduling and upload clinical notes into the EMR system.
- Travel between assigned nursing homes, assisted-living, and long-term care facilities.
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine ( DPM ) degree required.
- Active Florida DPM license required or ability to obtain one within the applicable timeframe.
- Board Qualified or Board Certified by ABPM and/or ABFAS .
- Strong clinical skills in podiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Experience or interest in routine foot and wound care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability and willingness to travel between assigned facilities, particularly within the Florida Panhandle.
