Teacher Position – New Beginning Christian Child Development Center

We are looking for caring, dependable, and enthusiastic teachers who have a heart for children and a passion for early childhood education.

Responsibilities:

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities.
• Foster children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Communicate professionally with parents and staff.
• Follow all Alabama DHR regulations and center policies.
• Complete required documentation and participate in staff meetings and professional development.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDA credential (or currently enrolled/willing to obtain, if applicable).
• Experience working with young children is preferred.
• Must pass background checks and meet all state licensing requirements.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and a genuine love for children are a must.
