Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Current, active special education teaching license in Michigan (required)
• Experience in elementary, middle, and/or high school special education settings
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual student needs and learning styles
• Strong communication skills for partnering with general education staff, support personnel, and families
• Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), goal setting, and progress monitoring
• Positive, proactive approach to classroom management and behavior support
