Home Care Registered Nurse

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes in Detroit, MI. This role involves assessing patients' health, developing and implementing care plans, and working closely with families and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments in home settings Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans Monitor and document patients’ health status and progress Provide education and support to patients and their families Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Maintain accurate and timely patient records according to company and regulatory standards Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan Previous experience in home care nursing or related clinical settings preferred Strong assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Reliable transportation for home visits within Detroit, MI CPR certification required Benefits Competitive hourly wage: $37.00 - $45.00 per hour if full time Part time: you would get paid per visit Bi-weekly paycheck Flexible scheduling options Opportunities for professional development and continuing education Supportive and collaborative work environment About the Company University Home Care Inc is a leading provider of home healthcare services committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
