Outpatient Physical Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team. This position involves evaluating all assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans tailored to individual needs, goals, and physician directives. The successful candidate will ensure the design of functional treatment programs to facilitate effective returns to community activities, serve as an educator for patients and families, and maintain the highest professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and utilize clinical reasoning to create appropriate treatment plans focused on patient progress.
• Document care thoroughly, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and clinic policies.
• Provide education and support to patients, families, and students while ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Participate actively in professional development and pursue ongoing education to enhance clinical skills.
• Maintain professional licensure in good standing and adhere to applicable discipline-specific codes of conduct.
• Understand and apply organizational performance improvement methodologies to enhance service quality.

Schedule

This position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR Certification required.
