$17.50- $20 per hour | Part-Time | Flexible Scheduling

Right at Home Chico is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to join our growing care team. As a caregiver, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one support to seniors and adults in their homes.

• $17.50 - $20 per hour depending on level of care

Responsibilities vary according to each client’s individualized care plan and may include:

• Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs

• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and walking

• Preparing meals and snacks

• Providing medication reminders

• Performing light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, changing bed linens, vacuuming, sweeping, and tidying

• Accompanying clients on errands and appointments

• Assisting with grocery shopping and other daily activities

• Providing dementia and cognitive support

• Engaging clients through conversation, reading, music, games, and puzzles

• Providing respite and support for family caregivers

• Observing and reporting changes in a client’s condition or needs

• Helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and positive home environment

Our ideal caregiver is compassionate, patient, dependable, and committed to treating every client with dignity and respect.

• Previous professional or personal caregiving experience is preferred

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Right at Home team

• Ability to follow an individualized care plan

• Ability to successfully complete required background screening

• Reliable transportation

• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance when driving is required for an assignment

• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of assigned caregiving duties

• CNA, Home Health Aide, or another caregiving certification is welcomed but not required for all positions

• A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others
