As a Direct Support Professional, you'll help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live fulfilling, independent lives in a supportive community home. Work weekends while keeping your weekdays free! No experience required —we provide comprehensive paid training to help you succeed.What You'll Do:Empowerment & Personal Growth:Help individuals work toward their personal independence goalsProvide coaching, guidance, and encouragement following individualized care plansServe as a positive role model and trusted companionSupport skill development in daily living activitiesCommunity Engagement & Activities:Plan and participate in engaging weekend recreational and therapeutic programsAccompany residents on community outings, appointments, and social activitiesTransport individuals safely to various destinationsFoster community connections and relationshipsDaily Living Support:Assist with personal care needs as requiredHelp with meal preparation and light housekeepingCreate a warm, clean, and welcoming home environmentEnsure residents' comfort and dignity in all activitiesHealth, Safety & Documentation:Monitor and support medication administration and health needsImplement approved behavior support plans when neededMaintain a safe living environment and respond to emergencies appropriatelyComplete required documentation, reports, and data collectionWhat We're Looking For:Required:High school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license held for at least 2 years with no more than 3 points on driving recordPA clearances (Child Abuse, Criminal, FBI fingerprinting)Compassionate, patient, and dependable personalityComfortable working both day and overnight shiftsNo Experience Necessary!
