Job Summary
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care on a neurological surgical floor within a healthcare facility. The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to professional standards.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification; NIH certification can be completed during orientation; minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including charge experience or willingness to learn charge duties; Missouri nursing licensure or eligibility; location in the United States
• Preferred Qualifications: Neuro and Stroke care experience highly preferred
• Float: Float rotation may be required to Medical-Surgical and Progressive units
• Additional Information: The role involves caring for patients with neurological conditions such as Parkinsons, Stroke, Lumbar issues, and others. The position requires excellent teamwork, communication, attentiveness, and patient care skills. Candidates must be willing to participate in scheduled neuroscience nursing courses as assigned. Travelers must have received flu vaccinations between November 1 and April 1, with exemptions approved by the client.
