We’re looking for someone who can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs. Candidates should have a wide range of design capabilities and experience, with a solid background in visual communications, commercial art, print, digital, photography, branding, and typography. In this fast-paced work environment, the ideal Graphic Designer will be able to hit the ground running as soon as we bring on a new project. Candidates should be able to conceptualize, design and execute creative solutions that consistently and clearly communicate the company's brand identity, positioning and messaging through all brand touch points (including print, web, email, social media, events, B2B and B2C marketing collateral, internal marketing and packaging, etc.).Responsibilities:Responsible for graphic design, seeing all projects through from concept, design, production, completion, and deliveryCollaborates with developers to create and refine web-based customer tools and interactive mockupsConceptualizes and produces graphics for all types of print and digital marketing, including product packaging, catalogs, and flyersPresents design work at various stages to stakeholders for review and final approvalWorks closely and collaboratively with the Marketing team on all creative projects, following the company’s brand guidelinesWorks closely with Marketing Project Manager to keep all projects on track, utilizing project management software to monitor project progress/completion/concernsInterprets company design needs and develops concepts to suit specific guidelines while working within budget constraintsAttention to detail demonstrated by closely reviewing and using design checklistsIllustrates concepts and obtains approval by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic conceptsPrepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and artStays on the cutting edge of what’s new in design, identifying opportunities to implement and experimenting with applying new methods and conceptsKnows when to be flexible and adjusts to effectively respond to changesCompletion of other tasks and duties as assignedRequirements:Exhibits critical thinking by working through details of a problem to reach a solutionUses appropriate communication methods, keeping stakeholders adequately informedTakes no-excuses approach to making things happen, taking personal accountability for actions, results and time managementMeets personal commitments and deadlines, tracking progress towards achieving resultsSeeks win-win solutions and manages conflict while fostering respectExhibits honesty, tact and consideration towards othersHighly responsive to requests by peers, customers and leadersStrong organization and problem solving skills with the ability to manage and execute multiple projectsProfessional, positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to observe and learnTakes direction well and is able to excel in a highly collaborative work environmentEnsures all work consistently meets established brand standards and guidelinesQualifications:3+ years of experience in branding, print and web design, working within an in-house creative department or other creative team environmentHighly proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Microsoft OfficeProficiency in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and developer handoff strongly preferredAdvanced understanding of print design best practices: utilizing a grid-system for layout, typography, design hierarchy, designing with gutters, bleed, and marginsExperience designing all types of print collateral and product packagingExperience with Keyshot and JIRA a plusHourly Range: $28.00 - 34.00Benefits:Employer paid Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life InsuranceTwo weeks of PTO (up to 3 weeks with tenure) with seven paid holidays401k with up to 4% employer matchAdditional paid parental leave beyond state/federal offeringsQuarterly catered lunch events for all employeesRAM Mounts product discountsPosition Status: Full TimePosition Location: OnsiteA drug screening will also be required (THC or Marijuana not screened during pre-employment test). #J-18808-Ljbffr
