JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking an Addiction Medicine physician for the Birmingham Alabama regional area for a 36 plus hours a week. This is an hourly position with rates $200 hourly but negotiable. Additional pay per OBOT visit as well.

Responsibilities include:

Maximizing the clinical and financial performance
Supervising the daily operations of an opiate treatment program
Ensuring operational efficiency
Responsible for the resolution of urgent and emergent issues regarding the treatment center before, during and after regular office hour
Managing treatment center revenue collections to achieve target collection rates and for managing expenditures in accordance with budgeted allowances

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements

Must be licensed to practice medicine or osteopathy in Alabama,
Three years of documented experience in the provision of service to persons who are addicted to alcohol or other drugs, and one year of experience in treatment of opioid.
BE or BC in Addiction Medicine or Addiction Psychiatry and two years of documented experience in the treatment of persons who are addicted to alcohol or other drugs
Fellowship Trained in Addiction Medicine
