Transplant Clinic CMA: Patient Care & Compliance

RESPONSIBLE FOR Provide a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider (APP), or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards. RESOLVABLE RESPONSIBILITIES Perform patient care activities as directed by supervising clinicians, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines and standards. QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or GED required. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program required. If lacking formal education, at least one year of medical assistant or related clinical experience is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a similarly recognized certifying organization required. Minimum licensure/certification required by law: None.
