Ready to bring your best?How You Will Make Contributions That Matter:Repairs, dismantles, assembles, installs, and performs preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment to include hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and electrical equipment.Diagnoses malfunctions in machinery and equipmentMakes recommendations to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.Works with co-workers and supervisors to resolve maintenance issues.Demonstrates safe and quality conscious work habits and follows all company policies and procedures.Responsible for understanding and complying with the Current Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety guidelines to ensure that quality food products are manufactured in a sanitary production environment and delivered with superior protection to our customers and consumers.Performs all other duties as assigned; some may become primary.Overtime as required.You Are Best Suited For The Role If You Have:Strong mechanical and electrical abilities.Full working knowledge of shop hand tools and their uses.Possesses a working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.Demonstrates initiative and strong interpersonal, communication, and team skills.Must be physically capable of performing medium to heavy work, lifting a maximum of 100 lbs (team lift for anything over 50 lbs), with frequent lifting of objects weighing up to 50 lbs.Must also be capable to do occasional climbing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crouching, reaching and handling, as well as frequent standing/walking.We Support and Care For Our Employees By Providing Them With:Development opportunities that enhance you career fulfillmentMeaningful compensation & benefits that help you care for your familyOpportunities to contribute to your community and enhance the lives of others through Saputo productsIn the USA, Saputo ranks among the top three cheese producers and is one of the top producers of extended shelf-life and cultured dairy products, with a portfolio of well-loved brands such as Stella, Frigo Cheese, Montchevre, Stella, and Treasure Cave.
