Position Overview We are on the lookout for a talented and empathetic Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic team dedicated to delivering superior care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you'll perform diagnostic exams, collaborate with an enthusiastic team of healthcare practitioners, and deliver quality imaging that brings peace of mind to patients. Core Responsibilities
- Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear and compassionate explanations at each step
- Work closely with radiologists and referring clinicians to ensure the delivery of top-notch diagnostic images
- Manage imaging equipment and promptly report any issues encountered
- Document all procedures accurately and maintain patient records within the electronic medical system
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
- Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
- Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Strong technical prowess in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal capabilities
- Able both to operate independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
