Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• 3 months of Epic experience is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Yale and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Yale.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - Draeger vent experience required. - Teaching hospital experience is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - NICU experience preferred. - Avea vent experience preferred.

Special Requests: - Additional RTO requested after offer acceptance will not be approved.

Unit Details: - May be asked to orient students/new hires if needed. - Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend and holidays as needed. - Will accept 13 weeks.

Floating Requirements: - Will float between Bridgeport Hospital and Milford Campuses as needed. - Travelers should expect to rotate through all areas of the hospital, including the NICU and pediatric units. The frequency of floating is dependent on census and staffing needs at the time, so staff should be prepared to support all units as needed.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 07/04/2026, 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 01/18/2027, 05/31/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• CPFT (Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
