This position offers a daytime schedule, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays. Key Responsibilities\n \n Provide professional nursing care to patients, adhering to established standards and practices. \n Demonstrate clinical expertise in making judgments related to patient care. \n Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care and education. \n Actively participate in the healthcare team to coordinate patient care with patients, families, and caregivers. \n Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities\n \n Understanding of nursing principles and skills necessary to deliver high-quality patient care. \n Familiarity with safety hazards and precautions within a healthcare environment. \n Knowledge of office procedures, medical terminology, and coding guidelines such as ICD-10 and CPT. \n Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. \n Capability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. \n Strong problem identification and analytical skills for prioritizing care and making quick decisions. \n Proficient in administering medications and utilizing medical equipment for examinations and treatments. \n Qualifications\n \n Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. \n Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license. \n Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with renewal every two years. \n Minimum of one year of nursing experience, with at least one year in oncology preferred. \n Completion of a bio/chemo administration course from ONS or the ability to complete within two weeks of hire. \n Additional Information\n \n This position requires holiday coverage. \n \n \n Wellspring Nurse Source Job ID 38037306.
