• Call: Required (weeknights + weekends)

Compensation

Travel Package: $2,646/week

• Taxable Pay: $1,120/week
• Housing Stipend: $966/week
• Meals & Incidentals: $560/week

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist to join a high-acuity cardiovascular operating room team at a leading hospital in Hartford, CT.

This position requires strong experience in cardiac and vascular surgical procedures , supporting complex cases in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Maintain sterile field and anticipate surgeon needs
• Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment
• Support complex cardiac cases including open heart procedures

✅ Requirements

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) required
• Strong CVOR experience required
• Experience with:
  • CABG (coronary artery bypass)
  • Valve replacements (aortic, mitral)
  • Aortic aneurysm repair
  • Endovascular procedures
• Experience with:
  • CPB (cardiopulmonary bypass)
  • Cardioplegia
  • LVAD, IABP, Impella
• Experience with inpatient OR settings preferred
