Seasonal thru 9/19. Shifts available between 9a-11p 7 days a week. Job Summary: The Server/Counter Clerk maintains effective communication with guests and fellow team members. Specific forms of communication include answering questions, making suggestions regarding Food & Beverage Service, writing down orders, requesting identification from guests when legal age is questionable, relaying food orders to the kitchen, relaying beverage orders to the bartender, answering phone properly and articulating a working knowledge of the Resort and Food & Beverage Department. Responsible for taking money in the forms of cash, check, credit card or room charge from guests in quick service outlet. Prepare food and beverages according to property set standards.Responsibilities:Serve food and beverage to guests according to standard operating proceduresEnsure high standard of sanitation and hygiene in the work areaPerform cashiering tasks according to the set standardsCarry food and beverage trays up to 25 pounds throughout the dining area including going up and down the stairsMaintain cleanliness of various restaurant areas to ensure guest satisfactionConstantly review standard food presentation, service and operating proceduresEnsure that all guest orders and related requests are carried out along with any reports or complaintsAble to drive resort vehicles for delivery ordersHandle any side duties as assigned by their trainerRequirement:Must be at least 18 years oldSelf-motivated to accomplish goals, with a strong sense of responsibilityProven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detailServers must be able to work outside in cold or hot temperaturesThis role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform is also required.Food service experience with general knowledge of operations and resort operationsPrevious experience as a cashier of food & beverage establishmentCompany Overview NDM is a family-owned hospitality company that began in South Florida's Food and Beverage industry.
