Registered Nurse (RN) - HIV / Infectious Disease

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a patient-centered outpatient healthcare team dedicated to delivering high-quality care to adult and senior patients. Position Highlights:

• Primarily Monday-Friday schedule
• Occasional Saturday coverage as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Outpatient clinic setting

Patient Population:

• Adults and seniors (18+)
• Large male patient population
• Patients receiving PEP and PrEP services
• LGBTQ+ inclusive and affirming care environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in an outpatient clinical setting
• Perform patient assessments, triage, and ongoing clinical monitoring
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, prevention, and wellness strategies
• Support patients receiving HIV/AIDS and infectious disease-related care
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Promote a compassionate, respectful, and patient-focused experience

Preferred Experience:

• HIV/AIDS patient care
• Infectious Disease nursing experience
• Outpatient clinic or community health experience
• Chronic disease management
• Patient education and follow-up care coordination

Qualifications:

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of a few years of nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment
• Compassionate, professional, and patient-centered approach to care
