Principal Data Governance Architect

As the organization's technical authority, the full-time remote Principal Data Governance Architect will enable enterprise data governance through technology platforms and data management capabilities, focusing on metadata, master data, data quality, and lineage while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure governance operates reliably at scale. Key responsibilities Define the technology architecture for enterprise data governance capabilities, ensuring alignment with operational requirements and future analytics ambitions Lead the implementation of governance platforms, managing configuration, integration, testing, and ensuring production-grade standards Design automated governance workflows and embed governance controls into data pipelines to enhance data integration and transformation capabilities Required qualifications 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or data governance platform implementation Demonstrated experience with enterprise-scale data governance or data management platforms Experience integrating governance tooling into cloud-based data platforms and pipelines Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Business, Health Informatics, or a related field Hands-on platform experience with enterprise data catalog, MDM platform, and data quality tools Virtual Vocations Inc
