With over $2.8 billion in annual sales and a commitment to its workforce, Kokosing is the winning team.**Job Description:****Pay:** $42-$45 an hour**Summary:*** Responsible for repairs and maintenance on large construction equipment.* Work with mid-size construction equipment such as generators, welders, air compressors, pumps, message boards and arrow boards as well as others to inspect, repair and maintain the equipment.* Ensure the machines continue to run safely at optimum efficiency.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*** Repair and maintenance on midsize equipment, including aerial lifts, forklifts, telehandlers, generators, welders, air compressors, pumps, message boards and arrow boards.* Diagnosis and repair transmissions, engines, differentials, electrical and hydraulic components associated with heavy construction equipment in a field environment.* Utilize a laptop computer for information and diagnostic purposes for the safe assembly and disassembly of components.* Write and complete service reports.* Participate in company training programs.* Perform other duties as assigned.**Education/Experience and Qualifications:*** Two-year technical degree in diesel technology, heavy equipment mechanics, or similar preferred* 5 years of experience preferred* Valid CDL driver’s license preferred* Basic welding skills desired* Crane knowledge a plus* Desire to take on new challenges* Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekendsKokosing is an equal employment opportunity/affirmative action federal and state contractor.
