Emergency Room Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Float

Location: Tucson, Arizona

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Job Description: This position involves floating between two Emergency Departments. Candidates must possess prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center and have at least two years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience, preferably in a hospital with 500+ beds. Travel experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Float between two emergency departments, providing care to a diverse patient population.
• Assess and manage patients in the Emergency Room with varying levels of acuity.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Perform nursing interventions and respond to medical emergencies promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all regulatory standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 24 months of Emergency Room nursing experience within the last 12 months - Required
• Active RN license in good standing - Required
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS from approved vendors - Required
• No hits on state license to practice - Required
• Travel experience - Highly Preferred
