Seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider for a hybrid inpatient and outpatient cardiac surgery opportunity (No OR time). Primarily located at Ahuja and Lake West Medical Centers. The schedule is 4 10 hr. days 7am-5:30 pm and every 4th weekend. APP experience required and cardiac surgery experience strongly preferred. A Brief Overview The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by an Advanced Practice Provider as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine or Nursing and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws.

• Advances own professional development through self-directed learning, continuing education and participation in peer review
• Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.

Qualifications:

Education: Master's Degree from an accredited PA educational program (Required) (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing (Required) Experience Qualifications 1+ years as a Physician Assistant 1+ years as a Nurse Practitioner Skills, & Abilities Demonstrated leadership skills. (Required proficiency) Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships. (Required proficiency) Computer skills to access patient medical data from UHHS mainframe. (Required proficiency) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
