Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a 12-week acute care contract in Temecula, CA, with experience in acute care settings preferred.

Details

• Occupational Therapy unit in an acute care hospital setting in Temecula, CA
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• 12-week contract

Requirements

• CA OT license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an OT in an acute care facility preferred
• Skills checklist completed within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Two supervisory/managerial references from within the last 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for evaluating, planning, directing, and administering occupational therapy modalities as prescribed by a licensed physician
• Develops and implements individualized patient treatment programs for patients with varying degrees and types of disabilities and multiple medical problems
• Designs customized home programs and provides instruction to patients and families on their implementation
• Reports to the Manager of Rehabilitation
