The Role: Doing With, Not Doing For  

Most of us enter the mental health field to connect with people, not to sit behind a desk. This is a hands-on, community-based role where you will work one-on-one with clients to teach daily living skills and emotional regulation. We match your current qualifications to one of two paths:

• Path 1: The Coach (Daily Living Support): Perfect for beginners or MHRT/1s. Act as a behavioral bridge by using verbal cueing and modeling to help clients master daily tasks, manage public anxiety, and safely navigate their community.
• Path 2: The Navigator (Skills Development): Perfect for MHRT/Cs or experienced pros. Help clients build complex life skills, self-advocate at medical appointments, and create natural support systems to prevent hospitalization.

• High School diploma/GED with an active MHRT/1, MHRT/1P, MHRT/C, or Provisional Certification (we provide full training and massive growth opportunities to level up your credentials).

• A valid Maine Driver’s License, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass standard criminal/APS/CPS background checks.
