Process Technician For Thin Films

Onsemi is seeking a process technician for thin films in Hopewell Junction, NY. Technicians in this role provide day-to-day line support to the sector, including lot hold, tool disposition, and execution of engineering experiments. Technicians work a 12-hour shift schedule in the cleanroom.

Night 1 (Sun-Tues, every other Sat) front-end compressed shift.

Responsibilities

• Day to day operation support of the sector within 12hr shift schedule.
• Recover from process and tool interruptions.
• Perform engineering experiments.
• Identify ways to improve tool availability, cycle time, utilization and cost.
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all environmental health, safety & security requirements and programs.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma; AAS degree strongly preferred.
• Strong, effective communication and teamwork skills
• Language fluency- fluent in English. Language - written and verbal.

Hourly: Onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $21.20 to $36.26 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members. We also offer a competitive benefits package.
