Registered Nurse - Infusion (Nursing)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Outpatient Infusion Unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient infusion, specifically in oncology, neuro, anemia, and gastrointestinal diagnoses, and will possess the necessary certifications to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies to adult and geriatric patients.
Handle blood product administration and ensure proper patient monitoring.
Utilize medical technology such as EPIC, Omnicell, and glucometers for patient care.
Operate common equipment, including Alaris pumps and elastomeric pumps.
Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple patients.
Float between different units as required and adapt to varying patient needs.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
Chemo certification is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Minimum of one year of experience in outpatient infusion nursing.

Work Schedule

This position offers a full-time schedule of 5x8 shifts during the day.

Location

The position is available within a 75-mile radius of various locations, and local candidates will be considered.

Patient Care Focus

The role primarily involves caring for adult and geriatric patients with a focus on oncology and related diagnoses.
