HVAC Technician

Coho Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to support military operations in San Diego, CA. This position is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and optimization of commercial and industrial HVAC&R systems in a secure, high-profile government environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, professionalism and the ability to work independently while supporting mission‑critical facilities. Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC&R systems. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and control system issues to ensure optimal system performance. Read and interpret commercial blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics and technical manuals. Operate, maintain and troubleshoot BAS/DDC systems, including pneumatic and digital controls. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Support boiler, chiller and stationary equipment operations as required. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental and regulatory requirements, including EPA standards. Communicate system conditions, repair needs and corrective actions to facility staff and non‑technical personnel. Maintain accurate service documentation and reports. Perform duties in confined spaces, on rooftops and in varying environmental conditions. Maintain professionalism and reliability while working in a government and high‑security environment.
