Radiologic Technologist

Seeking contract X-ray Technologist forgeneral x-rays for Rheumatology, Ortho and Spine.Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday 8-hour shiftsion exposure to patients, families, and co-workers.Positions patients and equipment and selects technical factors to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologist’s standards in a safe, timely manner.Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to perform scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to analyze and assess data, techniques, methodology, equipment operation, and quality control to ensure that information is obtained and presented accurately [Required]Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations, including x-ray producing equipment, if applicable per facility [Required]Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals [Required]Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry [Required]Able to fully use all Radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment [Required]Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required]Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]Education:High School Grad or Equiv [Required]Associate [Preferred]Bachelor's [Preferred]Work Experience:1+ years experience [Required]Licenses and Certifications:Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]Registered Technologist – Radiography RT(R) (ARRT) [Required]IEMA [Required]Pay Range:55-65hrThis facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
