Individual will be working in a fast paced, friendly environment where one builds relationships with staff, guests and members from children to seniors. Job Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Leader of Healthy Living this position is responsible for any and all duties in the Membership Department. Duties include: Greeting all persons who enter the facility and referring/directing those to the proper department Giving guided tours to prospective members Acting as cashier Answering phones Assist in membership recruitment and retention efforts of the Membership Department Administrative tasks of the front desk Registering members into programs and memberships Assisting in maintaining facility cleanliness through a variety of daily tasks. Acting as manager on duty supporting the training of current and new employees ensuring the safety of the facility and those on the property Deescalating problems when they arise Reporting incents and accidents Above all else, every YMCA employee shares responsibility for protecting children, vulnerable adults, members, employees, volunteers, and guests by maintaining professional boundaries, following abuse risk management policies, and fostering a culture of safety and accountability. 10. Demonstrates compliance in the following areas: Paylocity, employee paperwork, performance evaluations, personnel policies, and procedures i.e. dress code, code of conduct. Attends mandatory trainings and meetings, acquires and maintains required certifications for current position.

Minimum Qualifications 2+ years customer service experience High School diploma or its equivalent Hours of Availability: Monday-Friday mornings, afternoons and evenings, weekend availability when needed.
