Product Owner

Own Your Future.Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is searching for a Product Owner to join our team delivering Defensive Cyber capabilities. This position will be in Colorado Springs, CO.
As a Product Owner with MTSI you will provide support to the US Space Force, Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO-S), in its mission to provide defensive cyber capabilities to the warfighter.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 6+ years' experience as Scrum Master or Agile coach or 2 years' experience as a Product Owner
• Applications/Frameworks (at least 2): JIRA, Confluence, Slack, & SAFe
• Experience or Knowledge in the following Areas: Agile software development, agile methodologies, software development life cycle management, cross-functional

Desired Skills:

• Experience supporting Government, DoD, and USSF
• AWS Cloud; DevSecOps in Cloud environment
• Leading Teams (SM, PO, Technical Lead) developing Defensive Cyber capabilities

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in STEM OR Cyber-related specialty plus 10 years' experience, including Scrum Master or Product Owner (required);or Master's degree in STEM/Cyber- related specialty and experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner

Certifications:

• SAFe Scrum Master & SAFe for Teams, SAFe PO/PM or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master & SAFe for Government
• Cloud Certification
• Cybersecurity certification, e.g . Security+

Security Clearance:

• Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. A Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility) is HIGHLY desired.

Location/Travel Requirements:

• Place of work is Colorado Springs, remote work opportunity is limited. You may be required to travel periodically, less than 10%.

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $135,000/year to $155,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. MTSI also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
