Job Description
Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:
- Meet qualifications to interpret within an educational setting
- Hold one of the following credentials:
- EIPA level 3 or higher
- RID certification: NIC, NAD, or Educational Certification: K-12, or OTC
- Experience supporting Deaf or Hard of Hearing students in school environments is highly valued
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to complete district-specific onboarding and credentialing requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide clear and accurate American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation for assigned students, facilitating access to classroom instruction and school activities
- Partner collaboratively with educators, staff, and families to ensure communication needs are met
- Travel to assigned school locations as needed (caseload and schools to be determined)
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Complete required district documentation, timesheets, and procedural agreements promptly
