BartenderWe are looking for a bartender to greet our guests with hospitality as they arrive into our conference center and function rooms. They will make and serve drinks for our guests. This being with or without reasonable accommodation, using a combination of knowledge, skills and abilities.Education: High School Diploma or GED preferredExperience: 1-year banquet server experience with our company preferred or past full-service banquet bartender / bartender experience required as substituteSpecific job knowledge, skills and abilities:Ability to read, speak and write basic English in order to communicate with customers and other employeesAbility to exercise good judgmentPossess multi-tasking skillsKnowledge of food and beverage menus, food preparation and presentationAbility to follow detailed instructions with minimal supervision at timesAbility to communicate customer needs and resolve complaints independentlyPossess good inter-personal and sales related experiencePossess basic computer skills to be able to use POS system or cash register systemPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, sit, walk, climb, bend, crouch/stoop, twist and reach for extended periods of time. Especially standing for long periods of timeHave moderate to high level of energy and physical staminaExert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneouslyMost work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by restaurant / hotel environmental systemsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. intermittently during workdayAppearance Guidelines:Hotel department uniform is required.
