Warehouse Associate

Warehouse Associate position supporting Cencora's pharmaceutical distribution operations in Romeoville, Illinois. The role involves managing temperature-sensitive inventory, maintaining records, coordinating material movement, and preparing shipments for outbound distribution.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain temperature conditions for sensitive materials during storage and shipment preparation
- Update warehouse transaction records, inventory systems, and shipment documentation for traceability
- Identify and route damaged, on-hold, or non-conforming materials through defined handling procedures
- Coordinate material movement using approved warehouse equipment to ensure efficient flow
- Prepare packaging materials and staging areas to support timely outbound shipping activities
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Less than 2 years warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience
- Knowledge of warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping
- Understanding of temperature-controlled handling and cold chain requirements
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and follow standardized procedures
- CSCP certification or equivalent preferred
Compensation: $20.25 to $23.74 per hour based on shift differentials, performance incentives, and referral bonuses
