Job Description Job Description Direct Counsel represents a prestigious AmLaw firm seeking a mid-level associate to join its nationally recognized Mass Tort & Product Liability practice. Locations: Pittsburgh, PA | Newark, NJ | Charleston, SC Experience: 3–5 Years Compensation: $215,000–$290,000 This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile, complex litigation matters involving asbestos defense, product liability, multidistrict litigation (MDL), class actions, and complex commercial disputes across multiple jurisdictions. Ideal candidates will have experience with: Mass tort and product liability litigation, including asbestos defense Complex commercial litigation, MDL, and class action matters Managing fact and expert discovery Taking and defending depositions Drafting and arguing substantive motions Developing and executing causation defenses Working closely with expert witnesses Litigation in state and federal courts Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school 3–5 years of litigation experience Experience handling complex litigation matters independently Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills Admission in the applicable jurisdiction Entrepreneurial mindset with strong client-service skills This role offers significant client contact, meaningful responsibility, active mentorship, and the opportunity to build a sophisticated litigation practice within a collaborative national platform.
