Job Description:
Hillside Resort is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate is energetic, dependable, and passionate about providing excellent guest service in a fast-paced lake environment.

Our bartenders play a key role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards

• Interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner

• Verify identification and ensure responsible alcohol service

• Maintain a clean and organized bar area

• Handle cash, tabs, and POS transactions accurately

• Restock bar inventory and monitor supplies

• Assist with opening and closing duties

• Work collaboratively with servers and kitchen staff

• Follow all state and local alcohol laws and company policies

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of beer, wine, and mixed drinks

• Ability to work evenings and weekends

• Excellent communication and multitasking skills

• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs

• Must meet legal age requirements to serve alcohol in South Dakota
