A day in the life

You kick off the morning aligning scope with a customer sponsor and confirming deliverables with engineering, procurement, and operations. By mid-day, you’ve tuned the schedule, posted status updates, and flagged a potential risk that could impact a milestone. The afternoon is dedicated to a change review with internal stakeholders, a cost forecast check, and follow-ups on action items. You wrap with a concise report to leadership—projects are on track, risks are owned, and next steps are clear. Some weeks you’re on site ensuring safe execution during installs, testing, and key milestones; other days you’re coordinating teams across time zones to deliver on time, on budget, and to spec.

What you’ll own

• Coordinate activities and support execution across the full project lifecycle—from initiation through closeout.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define scope, deliverables, schedules, and resource needs.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customer communications and project documentation.
• Drive planning: develop schedules, track progress, and report status.
• Continuously monitor progress; escalate risks, issues, and schedule impacts as needed.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking to keep financials accurate.
• Plan and run project meetings, maintain action logs, and ensure timely follow-through.
• Support contract review and lead change management with internal stakeholders.
• Maintain complete, compliant documentation aligned with company standards.
• Guide closeout activities and transition handoffs to service and operations teams.

How you collaborate

• Champion safety and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with engineering, procurement, operations, and customer teams to remove roadblocks.
• Help identify risks and implement mitigation plans early.
• Provide regular updates and status reports to management and stakeholders.
• Resolve customer concerns through clear communication and cross-team coordination.
• Participate in lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Keep schedules, records, and reporting tools current throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or coordinating projects in manufacturing, industrial, logistics, engineering, automation, construction, or similar settings.
• Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in team environments.
• Hands-on experience tracking schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% to support customer and project needs.

Travel
