Travel RN - Med Surg 2S - Stroke Unit
This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift: Nights (18:00 - 06:00)
We are seeking a qualified Travel Registered Nurse for the Med Surg 2S Stroke Unit. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in a similar environment and possess a passion for providing quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Stroke Unit.
- Perform assessments, interventions, and evaluations in line with the unit's standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active Florida state or multistate RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Med Surg RN, specifically in a Stroke Unit.
- Experience in stroke care must be documented in the submission.
