Events Assistant

In this role, you will play a crucial part in the planning, coordination, and execution of various events, ranging from corporate conferences to community outreach programs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event management and will thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities : Assist in the planning and implementation of events from start to finish. Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, and transportation. Communicate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary services and materials. Help create event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met. Provide on-site support during events to ensure all aspects run smoothly. Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces and equipment. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in event planning or coordination, even if on a volunteer basis. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with event management software is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
