Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing flexibility in your work hours to meet the diverse needs of students. The typical workweek runs Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, although occasional evening or weekend hours may be required to accommodate student schedules and family meetings. You will collaborate with educators, school counselors, and parents to create a supportive environment for students, navigating any challenges together as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' psychosocial needs, integrating emotional, mental, and social considerations, to inform your interventions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with students, their families, and school personnel, tailored to address specific educational and emotional goals.
• Provide direct counseling services to students, utilizing evidence-based techniques to support mental health and navigate transitions such as entering or leaving the school system.
• Serve as an advocate for students' rights, ensuring that they have access to the necessary educational resources and mental health supports, and working closely with community agencies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all assessments, treatment plans, and counseling sessions in accordance with ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in workshops, training sessions, and community outreach to promote mental health awareness within schools and the broader community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with students from diverse backgrounds who may face challenges such as anxiety, depression, bullying, and familial issues. You will engage with their families to offer support and solutions that help improve not only individual student outcomes but also enhance the overall school climate.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.
• Minimum of two years of experience providing social work services, preferably within educational or community settings.
• Strong understanding of social work principles, mental health resources, and issues related to child and adolescent development.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, alongside the ability to build trusting relationships with children and families.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and familiarity with school-based mental health systems is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in school counseling or working with adolescents in a community mental health environment.
• Demonstrated success in Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) collaborations to support integrated care.
• Knowledge of behavioral health interventions and crisis management strategies targeted toward children and teens.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
