Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

to join our established and well-staffed

Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

25 years , the Franklin Square neonatal team has cared for premature and critically ill newborns. Our Level III NICU is equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology and staffed by highly trained, compassionate caregivers.

Unit Highlights

23 total beds

, including 19 private rooms and 4 rooms for multiples
Established team of

5 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and 4 Neonatologists
Approximately

300 NICU admissions annually
Level III NICU

Schedule & Position Details

This is primarily a

salaried, full-time opportunity working 36 hours per week , consisting of

three 12-hour shifts per week . The schedule includes a combination of

day and night shifts , with holiday coverage shared equally among the group.

Part-time and PRN arrangements may also be considered

based on experience, availability, and the needs of the NICU team.

Minimum Qualifications

PA candidates:

Current unrestricted Physician Assistant license to practice in Maryland; national certification from the

National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) ; must have completed a

Neonatal Fellowship
NNP candidates:

Current unrestricted Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license to practice in Maryland;

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification

through the National Certification Corporation
Minimum of

1 year of Neonatal NP/PA experience preferred
Qualified new graduates are encouraged to apply
This position has a hiring range of

USD $115,000.00 - USD $190,000.00 /Yr.
