Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Medical/Surgical Specialty: RN Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS Must-Have: 2 years of relevant experience Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient and family support and nursing care within their full scope of practice. This role includes participation in the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs and services for patients and families. Responsibilities encompass observation, data collection, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients' physical, psychological, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs as guided by an individualized and ongoing plan of care. The RN will work collaboratively as a member of the interdisciplinary team. The unit primarily takes surgical patients, including those undergoing joint replacements, hip fractures, open abdominal surgeries, and neck and back surgeries. We cannot guarantee a block schedule but will strive to accommodate when possible.
