Operating Room Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

AM Shift: 07:00 15:30

The Operating Room Nurse will be responsible for performing all surgeries in the unit, including General, Urology, GYN, ENT, vascular, Pain management, and orthopedics. The selected candidate will be expected to manage patients in a fast-paced operating room environment, ensuring safety and efficiency during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in all types of surgical procedures in various specialties.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
• Monitor patient status pre, during, and post-operation.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Document patient's surgical experience and outcomes accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an operating room setting.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
